About Me

I’m Brian Kilfeather-Larkin — a forecasting, insights, and strategic decision‑making obsessive who somehow turned a career in rare disease analytics into a mission to help people communicate with more clarity and confidence. I’ve worked in both market research agencies and within various pharmaceutical companies of different sizes, building frameworks, fixing messy business cases, and teaching teams how to think more clearly about uncertainty, value, and evidence.

Along the way, I learned two things:

  1. Most professionals are brilliant, but no one ever teaches them the practical skills that make their thinking land.

  2. I really enjoy turning complex ideas into simple, modular guides that people can actually use.

The Primer series exists because I kept seeing the same problem across pharma: People are expected to make high‑stakes decisions, but no one gives them the tools to do it well.

Forecasting, business cases, insight generation — these are treated like mysterious crafts you’re supposed to “pick up” on the job. That’s unfair to professionals and dangerous for organisations.

So I built the Primers to fix that.

Each one is:

  • Modular — so you can learn in pieces, not overwhelm yourself

  • Practical — no jargon, no fluff, just what actually works

  • Repeatable — a shared language teams can use across functions

  • Beautifully structured — because clarity is a design choice

  • Confidence‑building — especially for people who don’t feel naturally “strategic” or “commercial”

They’re the guides I wish I’d had early in my career — and the ones I now use to train teams, mentor colleagues, and help people communicate with senior leaders without fear.
